📣 Current Solutions
A money conversation can be easier
There are many methods couples use to work to get ride of their debt
Apps like Monarch Money or Honeydue take them on a jorney to paying down their debts as a team
The shared google sheet is another way couples use to plan their finances but don’t necessarily make the conversation easier
The challenge is making the work into a routine habit and keeping it that way
👆 My Take
Financial Goal Alignment is critical for all couples
In a time when debt is easier to fall into than ever, it is important your significant other and youself are on the same page when in debt, during the path to getting out of it, and staying out. It would be really hard to share your life with someone if you cannot align with that person over time. Your view of the future needs to be discussed and you should enjoy the process of getting to that future with your partner as they get to theirs. This team work is often forgotten and not practiced as time goes on.
To conclude: We have to keep taking steps together towards a world where the debt is avoided and people are able to support their partners, live their lives, have families, etc. as it is the obvious path to a healthy and happy life.
Till next time,
